Here's the progress:
The Floor
Managed to get the floor insulation done and sealed over the week. Glued all the celotex into place using stixall and some expanding foam where the ribs caused a large gap between floor and celotex. Used expanding foam to fill all the gaps around the celotex and evened it off once it had all set. Then went round the entire floor and covered any joins with aluminium tape. This creates a vapour barrier, so no water should be able to get through! Pics..

The Floor
So then it was time to move to the walls. I can only do some of the sections as some of them will require holes cutting in the van first. The walls turned out to be a right pain. It's like a giant jigsaw puzzle and you have to cut things exactly right to fit all the gaps etc.
Dad had the loft insulated recently and the guys left a couple of rolls of rockwool type insulation up there. So I nicked a roll to use in the van. I went around stuffing all the hard to reach places with rockwool and created a rockwool frame for the celotex. This should hopefully keep the van nice and cozy!
Once I had glued the celotex into place I went round all the edges with fire rated expanding foam. wait until it had set and levelled it off. Then Kim.. yes KIM.. went round and sealed all the joins off with aluminium tape. There was no wine in sight.. I was just as shocked as you are reading this. Pics..

The Doors
What a pain in the rear end these are!! I used a similar process to the walls but then realised they are uneven... everywhere!! I therefore used a combination of rockwool, celotex, expanding foam and alu tape to get the job done..
Still got more insulation to do, so that's tomorrow nights job!
